"LEADING FORWARD: THE POWER OF PARENTS"
2023 Annual Report
At FRN, every staff and board member has a family member with a special need, medical condition or delay. We know what it’s like to feel like you don’t belong.
We pair intensive support with unique opportunities to forge meaningful connections with other families. Support groups, community events, workshops — we are creating a vibrant community for all of our families.
Together, we’re helping our children, supporting each other, and improving the systems around us.
"WALK THE WALK"
2022 Annual Report
This year was a year of growth and expansion. With new government and foundation funding, we were able to hire new staff and to tailor trainings for a wider variety of audiences. We were able to surpass our fundraising goals and provide essential services for children, youth, adults and families.
"WE SEE YOU"
2019-20 Annual Report
Raising a child with a disability or special health care need is very hard work. Even in ‘normal’ times, families can feel overburdened and stressed. Invisible. Unseen. Systemic racism makes this harder for BIPOC.
Even in ‘normal times’, BIPOC families have had to struggle to get an equitable share of services. Dismissed. Neglected.
This annual report features the unique ways FRN is working to address the broad and deep needs of these families.
